Communities Served
I’m not quite sure why I have a page entitled “communities served”. Once again, this page is mostly just something that my web people think is important. I see their point. People want to know an answer to the deceptively simple question: “Where Do I Practice?”
The answer is, “that depends on your case.”
For new criminal cases and violations of probation, I only defend cases out of Orange County, Seminole County, and Osceola County. My office is right next to the Orange County Courthouse, and its only a short drive to either Seminole or Osceola County. I’ve been practicing criminal defense in Central Florida since 1993, so I am most familiar with these three counties (more importantly, with these judges). When it comes to a violation of probation, for example, it is especially important to know the judge you’re dealing with. As such, I don’t like to take cases outside of Central Florida.
That being said, if you’re wanting to seal or expunge a criminal record, I handle these sorts of cases all over Florida. The bulk of the work on a seal or expunge happens long before any court date is ever set. At most, a seal & expunge requires but one court appearance, so I’m willing to do this pretty much anywhere in the state.
