Altamonte Springs Florida is located in Seminole county and is in the northern suburbs of the Orlando area. The city’s unique name originated from a Spanish word “Altamonte” meaning “high hill”. First off, the city’s independence day fireworks are top notch, rivaling any 4th of July display put on by much bigger cities.
